New Declared Articles on the Horizon

Do you import or market any of the following products?
1. Electric Hot Water Bottles
2. D.C. (Solar) Isolators
3. Hot Melt Glue Guns
4. LED light bulbs
5. Plug-in Night Lights
6. Electric Over Blankets / Wraps
If you do now, or are intending to import and market these products, be aware that from 1st June 2018 they become declared articles and it will be illegal to sell them without full Australian approval certificates in place. If you have stock of the above equipment that does not have approvals, then you need to start thinking about selling-down the current stock and introducing products that have approvals in place.
