There is a new 2014 version of the standard AS/NZS 3105 which has new tests. It also incorporates requirements from the “conditioning and control device” standard AS/NZS 3197 to encompass these devices as well. Please ensure that your power board designs incorporate the new requirements for approved electronic components (MOV’s) and pass the additional tests where applicable. QEC Global will ensure that your renewed products are tested to the new requirements before we renew the certificate.
