As of 29th January 2018, single core and multicore electrical cable insulated with polymeric materials (see declaring definitions for more description) must meet the appropriate standards and be issued with an Australian approval certificate before being placed on the market. If you sell or intend to sell this type of product, then contact QEC Global and we can help you ensure that you are compliant before the introduction date. We feel this product will be heavily policed due to its inherent risks and cost of remediation if found to be un-approved.
